A recent article in Mashable talks about the tiny percentage of individuals that use Location Based Social Media like Four Square. Does that mean you should ignore them? Not totally. Who is your customer? Certain demographic groups behave in certain ways. If your customer uses Location Based Social Media so should you!
Who uses it the most? First, they are male. Second they are 23-28. They are techy, they earn a good income, they are single. Is that your potential customer? Then wake up and embrace Four Square and other services that allow your customer to swarm and join their friends. Remember, you want your client to be doing business with you. Sometimes that means you have to go where they are.
